Community Service Update: Feb 2011

Everyone is having lots of fun serving in the community and last week being the end of our trial period we are really seeing the blessings starting to come in.  I was starting to waver thinking we wouldn’t be able to keep this up but after some very fervent prayers, the Lord saw fit to bless us so we can continue on into the future.

  • We completed 75 hours of community service last month.  There will be a little more reported on this payroll but I’ll let that roll over to next month’s report.
  • Organizations where service was performed: Kids in Bluegrass, North West Intermountain Manufacturing Association, Hope Pregnancy Center, Grangeville Horizon’s Recreation, Grangeville Elementary School, Evergreen Food Bank, Bi-Centennial Historical Museum, Animal Ark, and several private citizens in need of a little assistance.
  • We have been blessed with sales to date that are more than 37% over last year’s sales, over 11% over 2009 sales, and almost caught up with 2008 numbers which was our best year ever.
  • A new client that we have been working with over the past year to develop new products is very close to several deals that will have us probably looking to bring on more employees here before the end of summer.

Everything is looking up and it is just a testimony that when we concentrate on how we can bless the lives of those the Lord has put in our path,  blessings will continue to come so that we may continue our work.  It doesn’t matterr if you are a religious person or not, if you call it the universe or whatever, the principle is a true one and those who have figured it out really do live lives full of joy and happiness.

Thank you to all of the members of the Idaho Sewing for Sports team, our customers, our suppliers, and the community for helping us make this such a success.  We have more time we would like to give so just call us and we will see how we can help.

Working for your success,
