All of our tower pads are manufactured with the highest quality materials. We at Idaho Sewing for Sports desire to make you the best tower pad available and we feel we have done so. As we have grown with the ski industry we have gained knowledge in what you like and use on the mountain. Our knowledge of your business allows us to have our standard sizes and continue to make custom pads to your desired needs.

Tower Heat Reflectors

Shield your tower from excessive heat and keep towers from bending.

Did you know that chair lift towers painted a dark color will actually move as the sun heats the tower during daylight hours?  Our Tower Heat Reflectors help prevent chair lift tower movement caused by sun rays.

Material Specifications:

• Material: 19.5oz nylon-coated ripstop fabric with extra UVR. -50° cold crack slick surface.
• Size: 54″ W x 30′ L
  • Custom sizing available
• Sewn edges with grommets along the 30′ side so shield can be laced onto tower
  • Paracord or bungees included

Finish & Barrier Pads

Our ability to design and manufacture what you need has made producing the Finish and Barrier Pads more of a custom job than all other pads we make.

We understand you know what is best on your mountain and will make these pads they way you need them.

These pads are generally:

• 6″ or thicker, front to back
  • Whatever thickness you need, we will make it for you.
• Progressive foam
  • Which means we use more than one foam density in a pad
• Hook & loop closure making for a replaceable cover if needed
• Attachment methods:
  • Straps & buckles
  • Grommets & bungees/paracord

We are proud of what we have accomplished in making these pads, they are used everywhere. Plus, we will custom make the size and shape you ask for. Willy Bags

Idaho Sewing for Sports is the home of the original Willy Bag named after cofounder Will Williams.

In the late 1980s there was a need for a pad that was easy to put up and take down and something that could be used at the bottom of ski area’s tubbing run-outs so the Willy Bag was born. Gail Williams designed a pad that was durable and reinforced on all ends, easy to put up quickly and take down when needed and has the ability to be strung together and anchored. Idaho Sewing for Sports is the home of the original Willy Bag named after cofounder Will Williams.
