Do you have a hard time choosing which attachment method will work best for your hill? With so many great options we know that it can be tough to decide sometimes. Today we will be comparing attachment methods for tower pads and post pads in hopes that we can make your future decisions that much simpler!
First, let’s talk about our most common attachment method, straps, and buckles. Straps and buckles allow for more flexibility with what you put your pad on. For example, if you moved your post pad to a new post that isn’t quite the same size as the last, the pad will still fit, with a bit of adjustment to your straps. The last thing to consider is that this attachment method allows for a tighter fit over the bungees and grommets. Most types of Tower pads and Post pads are compatible with this style of attachment.
The second attachment method is grommets and bungees. This is also something that people frequently purchase. Like the straps and buckles, grommets and bungees allow for more flexibility as to where you put your padding or cover. However, it doesn’t allow for as tight of a fit since the bungees aren’t as adjustable as the straps. Most types of Tower pads and Post pads are compatible with this style of attachment.
The last type is velcro; velcro isn’t as compatible as the other two methods because it has such an exact fit. However, this method is excellent if you want a more polished look on your hill. The velcro is attached to a flap of material that typically doesn’t have foam inside. This wraps around and connects to the other side of the pad. This is the smoothest fitting attachment method that we offer.
I hope this comparison of attachment methods for tower pads and post pads proves helpful when you make your next purchase of these products! If you have any further questions about attachment types, don’t hesitate to call the office at (208)983-0988, and we will be glad to assist you.
